Off grid camper vans are the new tiny house! Have you been tossing around the idea of taking off and just traveling wherever you want to go? Just looking for a comfortable mobile living solution for weekends or summer vacations? Either way, Off Grid Adventure Vans, has you covered with great camper vans that won’t empty your 401k!

Aaron Fensterheim founded OGA Vans in 2017 in Gaithersburg, MD then moved to Frederick, Maryland. Aaron got the van building bug after developing a love for the “van life” from spending lots of time on the road traveling to his favorite rock climbing spots while working remotely as a web developer. Later on, he duplicated those experiences traveling with Broadway shows as a sound engineer. After having the opportunity to experience traveling in a variety of vans, Aaron settled on the Ram ProMaster for the majority of the builds the company does. The ProMaster has the widest interior build-out space, fits in most regular parking spaces, and is easily serviced while traveling.

OGA is proud to have a devoted team of skilled designers, carpenters, and electricians that have a true love for the van life. Many of OGA’s employees are into minimalist lifestyles and have a love for traveling and seeing new places. Many of the staff have personally lived in vans long term and have been across the country camping out of their vehicles.

OGA Vans went from a one van shop at its inception to the current 17,500 square foot shop capable of building 12 vans at a time. The company has also expanded to include custom conversions on virtually any chassis a customer desires such as the Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit Van.

Below, we will focus on two of the standard conversions utilizing the Ram Promaster as these are the most popular conversions currently being built.
