How to go from Idea to being on the road in your New Adventure Van:

If you have been through all our options and are ready to pull the trigger and get behind the wheel, here is a look into our process.

* Notice: Presently, we are booked through next Spring, with a wait list extending through Fall of 2019.

The Steps:

  1. If you’re ready to have us convert a new van for you, or to have us upgrade or up-fit one you already own, talk to us about what you want. Together, we’ll decide which path your build should go on: Standard or Custom.

    • Standard: your build is a 159” ProMaster 2500 or 3500 chassis, and your interior uses our regular cabinetry and layout, like the Rogue or Rogue 2 models on our website.

    • Custom: your build is on any other chassis, like a Sprinter or a Transit; or is a short ProMaster (136”). Or, your build involves custom cabinetry, such as a platform bed or a mini-wardrobe.

  2. You sign a $1,000 refundable deposit agreement, securing your spot on our waitlist.

  3. About four months before your slot becomes available, we will contact you to discuss a final quote. We recommend the best options to get you on the road to where you want to be.

  4. You decide whether you want to proceed. If not, you will get your $1,000 deposit back.

  5. If it’s a go, we sign a Conversion Agreement, which adds you to our production schedule as soon as we receive your $2,500 down payment!

  6. You buy a base van through one of our dealers or on your own. We advise people to start shopping for their base van a couple of months before the start date.

    • If you secure financing from one of our dealers, no further payment from you is needed. They pay us.

    • If you buy the base van on your own, or if you’re bringing us a van to up-fit, we need 35% of the conversion price upon delivery of the van to our shop. Then, on or before the projected start date, we need another 50% of the price. Finally, three weeks prior to pickup, we need the remainder.

    • Regardless, we need the van on site 60 days before the scheduled start date.

  7. When your van arrives, it is put into production at our shop. Build time varies due to specifics of your conversion, but average time is about two and a half months.

  8. You come pick up your van and we show you all the ins and outs of your new adventure van.

  9. We recommend you spend two or three nights in the area to ensure that we can troubleshoot or answer any questions you may encounter.

  10. You hit the road in your new Off Grid Adventure Van! Safe travels!

We’ll help you get started!

Step 1: Let’s Talk!

Here are a couple questions to consider that may help us better understand what you are looking for:

What vehicle are you most interested in, why?
Are you interested in one of our base models?
What do you intend to do in/out of your van?
Is it for weekend getaways or full off grid adventures?
Where do you plan to take your van? Is it hot or cold there?
How many days do you plan to stay off grid at a time?
Will you have any other people in your van? Pets?
Do you have a specific time frame in mind?
